Before the Case
It's super stressful to be in a lawsuit. But success starts long before the case is filed. People usually call me when they're in the midst of a struggle with the landlord to make their home safe again. Tenants needs to provide notice of the problems in writing, likely make complaints to local government, schedule doctors and therapists appointments, and prepare to move.
And that's before we get into litigation!
